With the vast amount of information on the internet, it becomes very easy to jump to conclusions and render a diagnosis for many ailments or symptoms that is incorrect. Looking at recent numbers, 30% of the US population believes they have a food allergy while, in fact, only approximately 3-5% of the population actually do.

Our comprehensive diagnostic testing allows our staff to confirm or reject a suspected diagnosis. Through testing our patients avoid mistakingly believing that their allergies are caused by food and rather than going on restrictive diets that exacerbate the potential for health risks, we identify the real problem and prescribe real solutions.

Diagnostic testing can prevent spending money on the wrong treatment and also tell us when more aggressive treatment is needed. Not all test results are what they appear to be. Half of all positive blood test results for food allergy are false positives. A specialist has the training and experience to accurately interpret test results preventing costly mistakes.
